To promote our activities to a wider audience, Okinawa Karate-do Goju-ryu International Shōrei-kai, located in Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture, is pleased to announce the launch of our new web publication, the "SHOREI-KAI KARATE JOURNAL."

"Exploring the Past of Karate to Discover a New Path" is the concept of this media. This title is inspired by the Japanese idiom "Onko-chishin," which means "learning from the past to gain new knowledge." We will delve deeply into the history, philosophy, and traditional techniques of karate passed down through the ages, and in doing so, discover a new path for us to follow in the modern world.

We will clearly communicate the profound depth of traditional techniques and the spiritual essence of karate, and how these can be applied in modern society—not only to those with prior karate experience but also to those who have never had the chance to engage with it. Through this medium, we aim to broadly share the universal values of karate—not just as a martial art, but as a tool for promoting health, self-discipline, and personal growth.

We're launching this media platform as our official channel to widely disseminate our activities, aiming to raise awareness and understanding of Okinawa Goju-ryu Karate. We hope this will be a place for many to learn about the traditions of Karate-do and discover new values.
